The game could really use a cool change in the hero selection UI. Honestly there so many great options here.

I know this is just boasting, but it feels nice to have a golden legendary that doesn’t just feel like just dust

Animations taking too long Is a big problem

    Posted: 01 Mar 2021 03:15 AM PST

Basically I just played a game against a really cool combo priest when he drew his whole deck with gadetzan auctioneer while discounting while he drew with 3 copies of bloodwever. Pulling all his cthun pieces. Problem was when all the animations had finished playing out and it was my turn the rope started immediately. This is NOT FUN.

The devs need to fix animations.

Idea - Join the same card to optimize the collection space

I had this idea because I always thought that the golden cards occupy an unnecessary space, so joining the golden one with the simple one could optimize the space of the collection.

After having to kill 70+ bosses each on Warrior, Mage, and Druid, this felt especially good to get done. Hunter and Shaman were by far the easiest (both were 1-shot runs). Yo Adrian, we did it.

Blizzard on Hearthstone's long future: "There's so much to explore with WoW. It's not unreasonable to expect we've got another seven years of content, at least. The [new] Core Set has changed what the game has been... it’s a big moment in Hearthstone history."

Maybe it's a dumb question but why i see darkmoon packs as a reward for this season when they told barrens will be out in March?

    Posted: 01 Mar 2021 11:30 AM PST

I was a little disappointed that they kept War Axe around in the new Core Set without tweaking it at all. I think It'd be nice if it either got a minor buff or we got something a little more interesting.

This has been a really good year for Hearthstone!

    Posted: 01 Mar 2021 03:42 PM PST

I came back after taking about 6 months off to play Runeterra after HS burnout, which I quickly burned out from (took me 3 years to burn out from HS).

Coming back and thinking of what's changed in such a short period of time (including what's about to come) is quite amazing.

    • New game modes? Check - Duels and soon a new classic mode.
    • Massively better economy? Check - the rewards path is awesome, we're getting 100's of cards for free in the core set.
    • Better communication? Check - from Iksar's weekly posts to just more communication in posts etc. on the blizzard page it's increased far more.
    • Better balance? Check - can't remember the last time they regularly balanced the game so often. It's almost like just as I get sick of the meta and a deck they throw out balance patches and they are often exactly targeting what we expect.
    • Improved rank play? Check - they completely redid that, seems a long time ago but was only 11 months I believe and wow it's just SO much better than it ever was (and miles better than Runeterra) and decent rewards making month end interesting.

I'm sure I'm forgetting other things too, what have been your personal highlights?

I want to hear why you love/hate Duels

    Posted: 01 Mar 2021 08:07 AM PST

I've loved Hearthstone since 2014 but don't enjoy Duels, and I've been struggling to figure out why.

If you love Duels, tell me why it's great! If you hate it, what about it specifically turns you off?
