    Hello members of the /r/hearthstone community,

    This is part of a series of weekly threads aimed at both new and old players from the community. It is designed so that everybody may ask any and all questions regarding the game's mechanics, decks, strategies and more.

    Please keep it clean and try to add more than just a one or two word response. As the goal of this post is to increase the community's knowledge, the thought process matters as much as the answer! There is also a PullsDay Thursday weekly post, for those who want to share their pulled packs.

    So it's here, and i'd like to here like your inital start up thoughts about it, like how does it compare to the other book of heroes, did you like it, were there overtuned bosses etc?

    Showerthought: If Hearthstone had the same monetization model as Runeterra it would have no competition

    I feel like the only reason Hearthstone is held back or its longevity is threatened is its monetization. Hearthstone is excellently designed, easy to understand but with depth and that's why so many people stick with it despite its cost. For me the feeling of the game is unrivaled. If Blizzard followed Riot's exampled and doubled up on cosmetics, made purchasing singles available (wildcards) and gave you huge amounts of free stuff every week (weekly vault) there would be no competition for Hearthstone.

    Is it weird that I enjoy making npcs suffer in fatigue rather than finishing the game quickly?

    Did they decide to increase the difficulty of these campaigns by about 500 times or did no one playtest this?
