PullsDay Thursday: Post Your Popped Packs

    Posted: 13 Nov 2019 04:07 PM PST

    Greetings Travellers,

This is a new weekly thread to showcase your crazy or unlucky pack openings, for F2P players and whales alike!

The goal of this thread is to draw discussion around pack openings into a centralized post every week, so that players have a dedicated place to share their pulls. Whether you got a sweet Tavern Brawl reward or Arena chest, we want to see it! You can also post in /r/HSPulls.

Pack Openings are still relegated to a megathread on the first day of a new expansion

Note: I am a bot. Questions or feedback regarding this thread? Message the moderators.

    Tavern Brawl Update

    Posted: 14 Nov 2019 03:44 PM PST

    Hey Folks,

As mentioned yesterday in this post, we came across some major issues that resulted in us needing to disable Tavern Brawl. Right now, we are re-enabling Tavern Brawl and have swapped it over to a new one, Top Three.

NOTE: We have identified an issue in which some players may still be unable to play Tavern Brawl. The team is working to resolve this as soon as we can.

In addition, this Tavern Brawl was something that players needed to buy into and offered rewards that some players have been unable to claim. This isn't OK and we intend to make it right for players. Stay tuned for more details soon!

    Cheers,
    The Hearthstone Team

    Goodbye Goodpeople :)

Two days ago when i was trying to log in on my phone and do that one lousy daily quest and log out , i was hit with the "You've been banned" message . I checked my email and there it was , my crime of "taking part in exploitative play" .

I took a sip of my tea and said to my self "bloody hell" and did what any sane man would do (or wouldn't im not one to judge) , I contacted Blizzard support .

After being a customer for over a decade and an experience of a veteran in writing polite work emails . I thought i might have a shot .

I wrote my piece , I explained how i am the most casual of players and if im guilty then it would only be for playing quest shaman (the only deck i could afford) .

I felt a sense of pride when i completed my ticket and i hit enter , the following 24 hours were in terms of stress , equivalent of pacing back and for in the waiting area while my wife was giving birth to our first child .

then it happened , i received a reply ! from a MASTER OF GAMES CALLED " Caeysae " ! whose name reminded me of some "The regular show" episode .

and there it was , A LARGE , BOLD , BEEFY ,block of text about code of conduct , terms of services , and for some reason this master of games happened to only refer to himself as "WE" .

"we have concluded that the suspension will remain on the account " he said , followed by " Feel free to appeal" .

but dude you closed my ticket before you even posted your reply ? .

I stuck by blizzard for a decade through scandals , shady things , politics and all and said to my self im just playing a game in return of my money that i invest in it for fun .

And through the years i went from a hardcore 5 nights a week wow raider to just a casual who logs in to play hearthstone for the quest , and that was the last string of attachment to this company .

Now that string is gone . i just wanted to say i had so many good laughs and good times playing these games and watching so many awesome and creative content creators and i appreciate how even the gaming community can come together and tackle real life issues as one voice that makes multi billion dollar corporations change their approach .

I apologize for the long rant ,last i just want to say goodbye and i bid you all a very fond farewell .

Edit: the first and last time i have ever reached this rank , thanks to green jesus's evolve shenanigans (Thrall)

Am I the only one who finds Battlegrounds to already have gotten a little stale?

    Posted: 14 Nov 2019 07:35 AM PST

I can't really place my finger on what it is, but after 2 days of playing I'm already just downright bored. I think it might be the lack of variety in play options/card types? But man, I just don't want to play anymore.

[Battlegrounds} Proposed change to Infinite Toki's Hero Power

    Posted: 14 Nov 2019 06:32 AM PST

Apologies if this idea has been suggested before.

Infinite Toki's Hero Power recently got nerfed from 1 to 2 mana, which (in my opinion) has made her too weak. However, the nerf was justified; at 1 mana, her Hero Power was essentially a strictly better reroll, which (again, in my opinion) made her too strong.

Essentially, what her current Hero Power is doing is spending 1 mana for a standard reroll and 1 mana to add a minion from a higher Tavern Tier. My proposed rework is to separate these two abilities, since we can always spend 1 mana for a standard reroll anyway:

1 mana: Add a minion from a higher Tavern Tier to Bob's Tavern.

In my opinion, this would give Toki a bit more flexibility; if you only have 1 mana to float, you could choose to risk it for the chance at a powerful, higher-tier minion instead of the standard reroll. What do you think?
