The new Ragnaros Shaman skin references the movie Clue (1985)! I thought this was a neat Easter egg. Fun fact, this was the only improvised line in the whole movie.

8 More Off Meta Decks to Try in Standard

    Posted: 10 Jul 2021 10:20 AM PDT

Hey Everyone! I am Rarran and I have more Off Meta Decks FOR YOU!

Disclaimer: Most of these decks are not optimal or not gonna be the best deck to climb. This is to help people who want to try other decks to play that can win games in legend ranks.

I will be using a rating system to help showcase the strength of the deck. 1 being the bad and 4 being great.

    Taunt Post Druid: https://youtu.be/5nMd1HeZRSQ

This is a tempo deck where you use posts and cheap minions to build a board, followed by a bunch of buffs to finish games. This is a great deck and you catch so many players off guard with this.
    3/4

    Glide Post Demon Hunter: https://youtu.be/JRlrhh_0xlk

Another post deck that uses the deathrattle package as a base. The glide and post package really makes control, mainly priest, cry and wish they would have conceded faster.
    3/4

    C'thun Shuffle Rogue: https://youtu.be/23Qaz0xivC4

This is miracle rogue with extra steps, and instead of alex as a win condition, you use C'thun and plush pink death bears to kill your enemies. A lot of people may read this and think its a meme but, it aint too bad.
    2/4
    Control Corrupt Shaman: https://youtu.be/xjEDA_yBcR4

So Shaman is really good right now and this deck is no exception. One of the benefits you have is most players will mull against elemental shaman, which gives you more time to get to your late game corrupt cards. Another solid deck that would recommend trying!
    3/4

    Archwitch Willow Control Warlock: https://youtu.be/K38fCC4ekOo

Big Taunty Demons against the meta. There is no tickatus in here and you want to fight for board aggressively. Not much to say on this one, its basically control warlock with extra steps.
    2/4

    Jambre Owl Druid: https://youtu.be/nX-tiGRiOwg

I got legend with this deck with a 91% winrate from diamond 3(x10). Crazy swing turns, and the ability to destroy aggros hopes and dreams is such a great feeling. Just dodge priest.
    4/4

    Rally Post Priest: https://youtu.be/_0reHUTMMEI

It is a priest deck that uses watch posts to annoy the opponent and then you rally them. If you like priest, you will like this deck!
    2/4

    Tempo Hero Power Mage: https://youtu.be/OEqWsbmCslo

A faster version of hero power mage and is teched for aggro as much as possible.
    2/4

I hope this was helpful for people who want to play something new in standard! Excited for the patch this thursday! Also if you have deck that you find fun, please post it here!

Have a nice day and you look fantastic!

How can Blizzard make Duels more popular?

    Posted: 10 Jul 2021 08:57 AM PDT

Perhaps pre-built decks per class/hero power so less research is needed?

    Artist for Kel'thuzad Hero Art?

    Posted: 10 Jul 2021 03:17 PM PDT

    Artist for Kel'thuzad Hero Art?

Question in title. I've been searching for a while and came up with nothing. Even the Hearthstone wiki page wasn't able to direct me (his full hero art isn't even on the wiki from what I could tell!)

Here's the art for reference. As you can tell, there's no signature on it either.

    https://preview.redd.it/ry2bbh3vmga71.jpg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=919b49c2757e1d2dd0c84bc1f2f91fdef2df5246

if you know anything, please let me know! I enjoyed this art a lot and would love to look more into the artist's portfolio.

    Thanks so much!

    EDIT: just fixed the spacing

Is there a way to find out which class I've encountered during mulligan phase in Duels?

    Posted: 10 Jul 2021 11:36 AM PDT

So it's pretty common for me to be off for tea while the game is looking for an opponent, and oftentimes when I'm back I just can't find out which class I've encountered lol 😄 I can see my name and my class in the left bottom corner, and I wonder why in the left top corner, where the opponent's name is, you can just see "Duels" instead. So is there a way to learn which class you've encountered apart from making out through the blackened screen?
