    The worst thing of this "Forbidden Library" is that, it's three weeks of normal items branded as an event.

    This morning my friend, who got most of his hearthstone information from me (balance changes etc.), asked me where was the september event I was talking about. I told him about the heroic brawl, the book of heroes, new battleground heroes and the jaina portrait. He asked me, "isn't it just normal stuffs that are expected to be out anyways?".

    That is like a knock on my head for me to realize what's wrong with this event. So much hype was built up for me as an event, but when I actually look at it, there's nothing. No benefit for me at all while mega wild bundle and scholar jaina bundle are out for the company to earn some more of its player bases' money. New battleground heroes are just plainly unbalanced with 1 T0 hero and 2 T2 heroes (though I regard omu to close to T1). Heroic brawl, a brawl that is not new to begin with, is a gold sink for almost every player that enters as you need 70% winrate to barely break even with what you paid (7-3). The only real reward I obtained is a mage pack from the book of heroes, which is offset by the pack supposedly given to everyone during the weekly tavern brawl.

    Honestly, I can't complain much because this is an attempt for the hearthstone team to roll out new content. I too, appreciate their fast response on the darkglare problem in wild. However, I just can't hide my disappointment from a so-called event that just gives me stuff we are expected to have every expansion (bundles, solo advanture, balance change and new battleground heroes). I acknowledge the team's effort, but I wish they will not raise our hope and expectation so high, for things that are underserving for the hype.

    Could we have a regular tavern brawl alongside the brawliseum event?

    I see a lot of people pissed about the event replacing the free brawl. Imo an easy, quick fix for this would be to just have a regular tavern brawl alongside it that gives f2p players the free pack and something to play. Could even be the exact same thing (preferably not, of course).

    Personally I like the idea of the brawliseum, seems like a mini tourney that anyone can participate in. The payoff is huge if you succeed. But as many have pointed out, only the best players get to high wins, most just lose their gold.

    Don't have a paid event replace a free one, even for a week.

    Edit: jeez, some of you need to take it eaaasy. I wasn't insulting the devs or anyone, in fact I'm quite happy with this expansion as a whole. Simply suggesting a tweak to the brawliseum event that I think could be more enjoyable for everyone.

    It gives streamers something to do when they don't want to risk dropping ranks. It's good to teach people to improve due to how costly it is to play and thus repercussions are high.

    More importantly it gives us ways to potentially get more golden legends because I sure as hell am not getting 1 let alone 3 from 1k gold.
