Hearthstone An Update on Demon Hunter |
- An Update on Demon Hunter
- Balance Changes coming TODAY for Demon Hunter
- yeah Demon Hunter is fine I guess
- The Tavern Brawl we all need right now.
- It Does Feel Like That
- Me as a returning player after 1 day of AoO...
- New Demon Hunter card in upcoming expansion
- Leaked Priestess of Fury nerf
- Don't let all this DH talk distract you from the fact that Zephrys now gives very nonsensical choices
- New Quest Added!? Oh...
- Update from Hearthstone’s lead Game Designer on the current balance issue
- What did it cost adding new class?
- 24 hours of emon unter
- HOW did Demon Hunter pass QC in it's current state? It's not just OP, it's straight up broken and completely UNFUN to play against. I've been here since beta and this is the first time I'm not playing until a nerf comes out. Good Job Blizzard.
- This Card is a Joke
- I think it's time to dust off the good ol' one. How many Blizzard employees does it take to change a lightbulb?
- demonhunter is the ONLY positive winrate class in standard and arena, this is not acceptable
- Ranked games right now:
- This is different. It's different because it's intentional and it's inexcusable. People are focusing on comparisons to other broken things or whether a deck can be found to beat it, but the real problem is that this was planned.
- Why Isn't Skull Of Gul'dan A Legendary?
- The reality of the impending Demon Hunter nerfs...
- The most popular DH deck currently has 73,8% win rate against the most popular non-DH decks. It's worst matchup is at 62,9%
- Hitting Illidan with the ol’ razzle dazzle.
- TIL Malfurion has an alternative intro quote “I must protect the wild” which he rarely says in unknown circumstances.
- The unfair fight against Illidian, the Skull of Gul'dan displayed next to this message. It's all coming together.
Posted: 08 Apr 2020 05:08 PM PDT Hey everyone, Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be keeping an eye on the power level of Demon Hunter. Our goal is to make changes when necessary in order to get Demon Hunter to where we believe it should be. Today, we'll be applying the following balance updates to a few Demon Hunter cards in a server-side patch (meaning you won't have to download anything):
We wanted to get these changes out the door today, and in doing so you will only see the new stats for these cards—displayed in both red and green—in matches, not in your Collection. The red and green numbers will return to white and the cards will be updated in your Collection with a data-only patch that we're expecting to deploy before the end of the day tomorrow. For Arena, we're making changes today that will see Demon Hunter class card offering rates decreased until we're able to properly address the class with more accurate micro-adjustments in a future patch. The following cards have had their offering rates reduced in Arena:

Posted: 08 Apr 2020 08:53 AM PDT Board full of enemy taunt and you have lethal? Here's Edwin Van Cleef! Opponent has 6 health and you have 6 mana? Here's Tirion! It seems playing Zephrys is more of a liability now... [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Apr 2020 11:47 PM PDT I get it. Blizzard wants to showcase and highlight the new class. Fine. But they delivered something that is ridiculously UNFUN to play against and oppressive. I've been playing since beta and I've never seen such a monumental fuck up in design. Little interaction, allowing key cards that typically could be counter played by hiding them behind dormant, blah blah. Blizzard you fucked up. [link] [comments]

demonhunter is the ONLY positive winrate class in standard and arena, this is not acceptable Posted: 07 Apr 2020 11:18 PM PDT according to hsreplay dh is at 56,5 in standard, 2nd is 48,8 (hunter) arena dh is at 59,3 , 2nd is at 49,3 (mage) this is ridiculous [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Apr 2020 06:36 AM PDT Yes, we've seen other broken things before, and some will argue it was worse, but regardless, they felt like genuine mistakes, and the problem was their inability to fix things in a timely manner. They were getting better about that, but this is different. This isn't some deck they didn't think of, or card interactions that ended up being greater than the sum of their parts, or a complicated effect that was more useful than they thought, these are just straight up dumb power creep cards intentionally given to Demon Hunter to make them OP. Any idiot could see how broken cards like priestess and skull are. Then people got to play it early and confirmed it, then despite all hope to the contrary it went live and now both ladders and arena are in free fall. Even if the community somehow finds one or two decks that squeak out a better than 50% winrate against them, with as much hate tech as possible, then what? The whole ladder is those two decks? Even if the meta changes, Demon Hunter needs nerfs. Both things can be true. They are just objectively too strong, and all the initial data coming is shows it. We need swift and decisive action from the developers and frankly, they need to learn not to do this in the future. [link] [comments]
Why Isn't Skull Of Gul'dan A Legendary? Posted: 08 Apr 2020 12:52 PM PDT Power aside, its literally the skull of Gul'dan and you can have more than 1 in your deck lol. What, does Gul'dan have a twin brother we dont know about or something? Players should only be able to run 1 copy both for game purposes and lore purposes lol. EDIT: Best theory so far is that some say theres 2 Gul'dans, current timeline (consumed by illidan orignally) and the alternate draenor Gul'dan (WoD). That makes for 2 skulls I guess lol. Posted: 08 Apr 2020 04:21 AM PDT Data from hsreplay, taken from this standard deck. The "low" (65-70%) win rates you see are because there are so many demon hunter decks, every mirror match will drag the win rate toward 50%. Hopefully, this brings to light how overpowered this class is and convinces all those "it's not that bad lol" people. The class is just too overtuned and it's unfun to play ranked right now as anything else than DH Quick mafs: [link] [comments]
