    Streamer Sundays Weekly Discussion

    Posted: 25 Apr 2020 05:09 PM PDT

Do you enjoy watching streamers? Do you wish there was an easier way to find new up-and-coming streamers beyond the well-known, established Twitch goliaths?

Do you have a stream yourself? Are you looking to get exposure but not sure how given how Twitch displays streams and how one-shot stream promotion posts on Reddit tend to get ignored? Is anyone still reading these questions?

    This thread is for you!

If you are a streamer or know of a cool, lesser-known (read: doesn't regularly pull in 1K+ viewers) streamer feel free to post the URL and a short, informative pitch about why you feel others would be interested to watch it. Why should someone watch your suggested stream rather than one of the hundreds of other streams out there?

The next great streamer might be just one comment away.

    Enjoy!

Suggestion: Let us Build Decks With More Than 30 Cards Which We Can Then Remove Cards From

    Posted: 26 Apr 2020 09:45 AM PDT

Sometimes when I'm designing a deck, I would like to put in all of the cards that I want to possibly use, then eliminate the ones that I think are the least useful, especially when trying to come up with something a lot more unique.

This would be relatively easy to implement, I assume.

BGs has a P2P advantage of half a standard deviation, this is so blatantly P2W and is worse than I expected it to be. Doubling the roles for people who pay is ridiculous

Why does it advance the number shown for mana the turn prior to having that much mana? The most annoying thing is thinking you have more mana than you actually do.

Priestess of Fury is a fine card

    Posted: 26 Apr 2020 02:58 AM PDT

Turn 5 Priestess of Fury is not fine.

I can absolutely accept that some class cards are powerful enough to be a staple in pretty much every deck (even if three quarters of all demon hunter cards seem to fit this requirement..), it's just something that you learn to adapt to. About 2 centuries ago, when control paladin was meta, Tirion turn eight was expected, so players ran weapon removal or silences. When Wallet Warrior was a real thing you knew they had 12 burst with Gromm + Taskmaster, similarly i believe once demon hunter gets tweaked into place, players will adapt to turn 7 Priestess.

Why the fuck can that card be played turn 5 tho

Current meta demon hunter decks run Raging Felscreamer SPECIFICALLY to cheat that card out, because turn 5 priestess, combined with all the tempo demon hunters naturally accumulate with their never ending card draw + outcast effects has absolutely no real answer and its exacerbated by the fact that demon hunters have so much card draw that they can realistically get it often enough to be frustrating to play against. If you're playing control, that 6 damage + potential 12 damage next turn you HAVE to answer, if you're playing aggro, that pretty much a board clear and if you can't kill the demon hunter turn 5 you just lose, they will win the race with 12 damage nukes a turn.

I am fairly certain I just played a golden demon hunter bot at ~10k legend on EU.

Here is a replay of the game: https://hsreplay.net/replay/Mih9sjGh9Kwm2pkKp62H8b

Some very questionable plays there but the thing that was strange is that he was using the exact same amount of time at the start of every turn to play his first card. I remember back in the old pirate warrior and aggro shaman days there was a lot of bots, haven't heard about them since but I was having a de ja vu feeling in this game I just played against this guy. For someone who grinded out the 500 wins I'd think he'd concede around turn 6-7 when it was pretty clear he had no chance to come back to the game imo but instead he played through the whole game where I let him die to fatigue in the end. I can't be 100% certain he is botting but it is very similar to what the experience was playing against bots back in the days. Do you guys think it's possible to bot in HS again? The tempo DH deck is very similar to the decks bots used back in the days so yea...
