    Hey Folks,

    We're currently in the process of rolling out a small 16.0.3 server-side update (meaning you won't need to download anything) to address a few issues. Here are the changes:

    • Fixed an issue that could cause Sidequests to prevent Questing Explorer from drawing a card.
    • Fixed an issue where Storm Egg had Rush.
    • Fixed an issue with the Happy Hallow's End quest that could prevent players from completing it.
    • [Tombs of Terror] Fixed an issue that could cause the Battle Scars anomaly to prevent the player from progressing after ending a plague lord encounter with a tie.
    • [Tombs of Terror] Fixed an issue with Murky's Battle Horn that could cause both heroes to be destroyed.
    • [Arena] Dragonmaw Poacher is no longer draftable.
    • [Arena] Lightforged Zealot is no longer draftable.
    • [Hearthstone Battlegrounds] Primalfin Lookout has been moved from Tavern Tier 4 to Tavern Tier 5.

    Info on Upcoming Descent of Dragons Balance Changes

    Hey Folks,

     

    Just to give a heads up - we're working on a balance update that will arrive within the next week with card adjustments for Descent of Dragons, including some changes aimed at Shaman. Any cards that are affected will be given full Arcane Dust refunds.

    They should change the hero power of Galokrond priest to 'Discover a preist minion' or 'Discover a priest card'

    Galokrond priest has a rather terrible hero power compared to the other classes and could do with a small rework to make it more viable. Giving priest 3 options to choose from will help it be more consistent.

    Last Hearthstone Blog post regarding Leader boards September 2nd

    Dear Blizzard,

    Awesome swift action today from Blizzard regarding the new expansion set. Incredible response time, and shows they are listening to some of the complaints. The Dragonmaw Poacher was a problem in the Arena format and I'm sure many people are happy it's removed so now we can pick and play dragons :)

    However I want to bring some attention to the issue of the Leader Board blogs.

    The last leader board blog was dated September 2nd. For results that occurred July/August. Currently, Arena rotations of Sept/Oct, and Nov/Dec are outstanding. This is a full 2 rotations of outstanding results that are not posted.

    It's December 13th - Over 3 months since the last published blog.

    The previous September blog took 6 weeks after the end of the rotation to publish. We are currently sitting at over 12 weeks.

    My question is - Is someone looking into this ? It feels like this blog and Arena Leader boards are neglected to the point where they just want it to go away. If that is the case - can someone just communicate this ? The Arena community has heard about a live leaderboard in the works, but this has been in random posts as opposed to anything "official"

    Hopefully something more concrete comes soon :)
