    Hello members of the /r/hearthstone community,

    This is part of a series of weekly threads aimed at both new and old players from the community. It is designed so that everybody may ask any and all questions regarding the game's mechanics, decks, strategies and more.

    Please keep it clean and try to add more than just a one or two word response. As the goal of this post is to increase the community's knowledge, the thought process matters as much as the answer! There is also a PullsDay Thursday weekly post, for those who want to share their pulled packs.

    New portrait Headless Uther has no new voice lines

    No new hero tray, no new voice lines, no new hero power & entrance animation.

    They re-used its original voice lines and just changed the way he sounds.

    So he indeed still says ''By the holy light''

    I guess paying someone to make a unique hero tray and new voice lines was way too expensive for blizzard.

    It's mind blowing how lazy they are with those releases. They are laughing at their customers.

    Horseman Uther - I really don't like where Blizz is going with these heros.

    Today, I thought that I'd purchase the Horseman Uther Bundle, which came with 25 Scholomance Packs and a guaranteed legendary from scholomance. The bundle itself is a fair deal, 25 packs for 25 dollars, with the addition of a guaranteed legendary. However, its main selling point, Horseman Uther worries me greatly. We just had the outcry over how bare - bones Scholar Jaina was, and Uther is very similar in regards to the lack of effort the HS team put into that hero. Granted, they do edit the voicelines, giving Uther's lines more echo, but that is all. No special hero entrance. No special hero power effects. I am certain that the only reason that they even chose to make this hero was because of the low - effort nature of its creation. We need to make our voices heard. The fact that blizzard can't even be bothered to add a green light effect for the hero power instead of the normal yellow is absurd to me. They are just being lazy. Unless you really want the packs, stay away from this bundle.

    What in the world is going on with hero portraits?

    I know this issue is all the rage, but even after the Jaina debacle, I was stunned to see them continue the trend with Headless Uther not having anything new to him other than reverb applied to the existing lines. If anything it's even MORE frustrating since the expectation has been set in the past that these $25 bundles usually have far more work put into them.

    At this point I'd be less frustrated if we got an explanation why these new hero portraits have so much less work put into them and what their philosophy regarding them is going forward. If the expectation is that they plan on pumping out a significant quantity of them faster than before, than great! But we need to know, because the expectation so far based on previous bundles is that these new purchasable portraits have far less work put into them than even the free ones we used to get.

    I'm more than happy to buy every single hero portrait released. I love the game, I love having different portraits to choose from and I'm glad they are releasing new ones.

    But AT LEAST MAKE IT WORTH IT.

    For the love of God stop putting out these re-skins of the old hero's with same voice lines etc, and charging us for it. Its a terrible look, it comes off as lazy and to be honest, it's disrespectful to the consumers to release a lazy /unfinished product and expect everyone to just throw money at it because it's "new". First Jaina, now Uther. What happened to hero portraits like Mecha Jarraxxus with unique entrances, voice lines ?
