    For each of the last two expansions, Blizzard has set a record for quickest nerfs after a set drops, with [[Corrupt Elementalist]] and [[Faceless Corruptor]] being nerfed nine days after Descent of Dragons came out, and four Demon Hunter cards being nerfed the day after Ashes of Outland was released.

    This means that, even if you bought both preorder packages (as I did) then your dust income may be significantly higher if Scholomance also has rapid nerfs. For instance, if I dusted all my Scholomance duplicates on launch day, I'd probably make somewhere around 4k dust. (This is ballparking and intentionally slightly lowballing because I'm waaaaay too lazy to actually count this.) But if I wait and just two rares get nerfed, I'll make an additional 500-600 dust, which is an increase of roughly 15%.

    This isn't just for this of us who've pre-ordered. In fact, it's even more important if you're F2P, since an F2P player has less total dust to work with, and the increase will be even more meaningful.

    Whether or not to hold out for the next round of nerfs is a more subjective decision. It could be weeks or months before then. But with the power level of Scholomance and the recent history of rapid, responsive nerfs, it's probably very worth it to try to hold off pushing the dust button for a week or two.

    Does Blizzard not have a single colorblind or poor sight employee?

    I can't be in such a small minority that some of these dual class cards are really difficult to pick out. I can't tell the difference between hunter and demon hunter colours, I know there's only a small set of cards in those pools at present, but it would be good to have something implemented for the future releases. There must be many other individuals with similar colour/sight problems or annoyances, I've been playing since Karazhan but DH class releasing was the first time I realised I couldn't tell the difference between the greens. This game has been out for years, and I'm wondering why have Blizzard STILL not introduced a colour blind mode. They've managed it for other games!

    Hello everyone!

    And welcome back to yet another addition to the still ongoing Hearthstone Expasion Review Compilation thread series, where I look through the personal Twitch and YouTube channels of many different notable HS community members to find their opinions on the upcoming cards, and put all of them in one place for your convenience.

    It's August 4th today, which means that we're only two days away from the launch of Scholomance Academy, Hearthstone's 16th expansion. The community spoiler/reveal season has concluded, and so did the pre-release theorycrafting streams that have now become a long-standing tradition. Now, it's time to hear what the players have to say, and maybe predict how the meta will turn out!

    Also, unlike the previous thread for Ashes of Outland, however, this time no Standard rotation is taking place as we're right in the middle of an expansion cycle, meaning none of the previously released cards will be leaving into the Wild format just yet.

    Scholomance Pre-Order missing from the shop

    Anyone else having this issue? I logged in today to pre-order the new set and it is just gone from the shop.

    I submitted a ticket to blizzard about it, but was wondering if anyone else had an idea on what i should try to do about it.

    Why are Blizzard not using their keywords?

    I've been thinking about this for a while - I'm sure we're all familiar with "Inspire", the mechanic introduced in TGT, for those that aren't, Inspire is the keyword for an effect that activates when you use your hero power. So why does Phase Stalker (Hunter Minion - 2 mana 2/3 - After you use your Hero Power, cast a Secret from your deck.) not use the inspire keyword?

    Another example is a card that's coming out this expansion - Guardian Animals (Hunter/Druid Spell - 7 mana - Summon two Beasts that cost (5) or less from your deck. Give them Rush.) - why doesn't this card use the Recruit keyword? For those unfamiliar the keyword is as follows "Recruit is a card ability which summons a random minion from the player's deck.".

    TLDR ; it's weird that Blizzard introduce keywords but seem to forget about them by the next time an expansion rolls around :)
