Streamer Sundays Weekly Discussion Posted: 14 Mar 2020 05:09 PM PDT Do you enjoy watching streamers? Do you wish there was an easier way to find new up-and-coming streamers beyond the well-known, established Twitch goliaths? Do you have a stream yourself? Are you looking to get exposure but not sure how given how Twitch displays streams and how one-shot stream promotion posts on Reddit tend to get ignored? Is anyone still reading these questions? This thread is for you! If you are a streamer or know of a cool, lesser-known (read: doesn't regularly pull in 1K+ viewers) streamer feel free to post the URL and a short, informative pitch about why you feel others would be interested to watch it. Why should someone watch your suggested stream rather than one of the hundreds of other streams out there? The next great streamer might be just one comment away. Enjoy! Note: I am a bot. Rankstar Report #14 — March 2020 Posted: 15 Mar 2020 10:49 AM PDT We would like to thank these top legend players who have given us their expert opinions: RenoJackson, Hijodaikan, Jack, Memnarch, 燁魔*, xtuliop, Goku, SmellyHuffer, Eddetektor, Weatherlight, Jonahrah, Malekith, and ksr. Their Twitters are to be listed at the end of the report.* Welcome to the Second Edition of Team Rankstar's Wild Meta Snapshot for 2020! In this meta report, we will be going through a tier list of 81 decks we've seen frequently on ladder, explain the method of computing the tier list, break down the meta and analyze the decks as detailed as they need to be. In this report, we have included a Meta Ranking and will be further discussing the state of each class in terms of power and diversity. Also, we're including some Rankstar special decklists that were made by none other than our experts! Method We collected our experts' opinions through a spreadsheet, where our Top Wild legend players will rate the given decks with a corresponding score from 1 to 4 in increments of 0.5 (with 1 being top Tier 1 and 4 being bottom Tier 4). We then collect the result, standardize and categorize them in 4 different Tiers. This is what they mean: Tier 0 (Absolute oppression) The one deck to beat. You either play it or play decks that can beat it. NONE Tier 1 (Meta-defining) Highly-optimised decks with extreme raw power that are very well positioned in the meta. Time Warp Mage Even Shaman Control Cube Warlock Egg Cube Warlock Reno Time Warp Mage Secret Mage Tempo Galakrond Warrior Tier 2 (High-legend viable) Competitive decks that are not as well-rounded, but can snatch games off of Tier 1 decks or prey on their direct counters. Pirate Warrior Darkest Hour Warlock Mech Handbuff Paladin Odd Paladin Aviana Druid Odd Rogue Aggro Rogue Jade Druid Reno Control Mage Mecha'thun Warlock Odd Warrior Tier 3 (Legend-viable) Fringe decks that can capitalise on pocket metas that allow it, however, are either suboptimal or outmeta. Even Warlock Kingsbane Rogue Beast Hunter Even Hunter Inner Fire Priest Zoo Warlock Mech Hunter Aggro Druid Treachery Warlock Galakrond Rogue Reno Hunter Reno Combo Priest Reno Warlock Murloc Shaman Elemental Mage Reno Shaman Even Paladin Malygos Warlock Big Priest Evolve Shaman Dragon Hunter Odd Mage Weasel Priest Control Shudderwock Shaman Reno Paladin Odd Hunter Reno Druid Patron Warrior Tier 4 (Average) Decks at a weaker power level that require an extensive understanding to be able to pilot well, however, are not recommended for ladder experience. Togwaggle Priest Taunt Warrior Galakrond OTK Rogue Aggro Shaman Galakrond Shaman Token Paladin Dinomancer Warlock Secret Hunter Reno Rogue Big Rogue Dead Man's Warrior Big Burn Priest Mind Blast Priest Deathrattle Hunter Murloc Paladin Control Reno Priest APM Priest Taunt Druid Mill Rogue Discard Warlock Linecracker Druid Burgle Rogue Gonk Druid Exodia Paladin Malygos Druid Miracle Rogue Big Shaman Recruits Paladin Ramp Druid Tier 5 (Meme) Decks that aren't typically played to get for the purpose of climbing ladder, but still have a decent enough presence to be included in the report. Mech Mage Jade Shaman Handbuff Paladin Pure Paladin Freeze Mage Caverns Rogue Within each tier, decks are categorized to either High tier, Mid tier or Low tier to further differentiate their power level. For Meta Ranking analysis, we allocate points to each deck from Tier 0 to Tier 3 then sum them up. The point system for rating a single deck is as below: Tier 0: 22 Tier 1: 18 (High), 15 (Mid), 12 (Low) Tier 2: 9 (High), 7 (Mid), 5 (Low) Tier 3: 3 (High), 2 (Mid), 1 (Low) Each deck is also assigned a popularity ranking and a respective coefficient multiplier based on its popularity. The highest multiplier is 12 and the lowest is 7. For example, if Odd Paladin is High Tier 1 and has a multiplier of 12, it will bring the class an additional 216 points. Therefore, a class can be placed highly on the Ranking system based on one (or both) of these elements: having a few strong decks (deck power) or having many decks (class diversity). If classes share the same score, the class with more top decks will be ranked higher. Meta Ranking: Warlock Mage Warrior Shaman Paladin Druid Rogue Hunter Priest Read the report here: https://teamrankstar.com/meta/hearthstone-wild-meta-snapshot-march-2020/ To get updates on all our future reports, consider joining our Discord server The Wild Side: https://discord.gg/FVZgtVs [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Mar 2020 06:15 AM PDT Welcome to Meme Deck of the Month, or MDM from here on out. This is a series that I plan on continuing for a little while, so stay tuned. On the 15th of every month, I'll post my current favorite meme deck, along with a deck list, code, and detailed description. Disclaimer: These decks are expensive, and have a low winrate. Craft any cards you see at your own risk, and take my opinion with a grain of salt.* Meme Deck of the Month: Galakrond C'Thun Highlander RogueGala'Thun, Azeroth's EndClass: RogueFormat: Wild1x (0) Shadowstep 1x (1) Praise Galakrond! 1x (2) Beckoner of Evil 1x (2) EVIL Cable Rat 1x (2) Sap 1x (2) Zephrys the Great 1x (3) Disciple of C'Thun 1x (3) EVIL Miscreant 1x (3) Fan of Knives 1x (3) Seal Fate 1x (3) Twilight Elder 1x (4) C'Thun's Chosen 1x (4) Devoted Maniac 1x (4) Elven Minstrel 1x (4) Grand Lackey Erhk 1x (4) Spirit of the Shark 1x (4) Walk the Plank 1x (5) Loatheb 1x (5) Shield of Galakrond 1x (5) Vilespine Slayer 1x (5) Zilliax 1x (6) Heistbaron Togwaggle 1x (6) Kronx Dragonhoof 1x (6) Reno Jackson 1x (6) Vanish 1x (7) Galakrond, the Nightmare 1x (7) Twin Emperor Vek'lor 1x (9) Blade of C'Thun 1x (9) Dragonqueen Alexstrasza 1x (10) C'Thun AAEBAYO6Ah7EAe0CzQObBfoOwxbYrAKTrQLJrwLLrwLNrwLPrwLUrwKBwgLb4wKggAO0hgPOjAO0kQOPlwOSlwP8owO5rgP+rgOqrwPOrwORsQPjtAPHtgPLwAMAAA== Description: This deck is a heavy greed control deck. Like most control decks, it suffers from having a dead hand of reactionary cards. I find myself holding onto Reno, C'Thun, Galakrond, and many other cards that aren't useful by themselves. Your job is to react to your opponent. Galakrond isn't used conventionally in this deck. When he's fully upgraded, he usually draws too many cards due to your full hand. It's tough to fully Invoke him anyway, there's only 4 Invoke cards in the deck, so don't wait too long to play him, even if he's not fully charged. Shadowstep and Spirt of the Shark are necessary inclusions to the deck. How you use them is directly tied to how much fun you'll have with them. Shadowstepping your C'Thun is almost guaranteed to make your opponent cry. Reno, too. The Spirt can be used as a wincon if followed up with C'Thun on the next turn. If such an option isn't available, you can use it to make your C'Thun bigger with Battlecry buffs. Cards to Sub: I understand that this deck is incredibly expensive, but fear not, not every card is necessary to have fun. Grand Lackey Erhk is tough to use due to your large hand, and Loatheb isn't entirely necessary, though he is universally good. If you really want to put something else in, try subbing Devoted Maniac. Your Galakrond is unlikely to be fully Invoked even with his inclusion. He is easily the worst of the Invoke cards, so he can be safely subbed. I hope you enjoy this series, and I look forward to posting more meme decks down the line. Cheers! [link] [comments]

What the hell is happening with battle.net? Posted: 15 Mar 2020 01:47 PM PDT So I wanted to install Hearthstone after a break and apparently battle.net is running on potatoes. It starts downloading Hearthstone and it starts fine, about 1.5 MB/s, not ideal but not bad and then not even a minute after it drops down to 10KB/s and stays there for next 30 minutes. Then again goes up to about 500KB/s to 1.5 MB/s for a minute and same cycle repeats. I set my download rates to be unlimited in settings and nothing else is using my internet. Not windows updates nothing. This never happened to me. Does this have something to do with Call of duty warzone since I've seen people are going crazy over it or something else? Anyone having the same problem? Edit: after 4 hours of battle.net sucking ass it finally started working okayish and downloaded Hearthstone. It usually took me 20-30 minutes [link] [comments]
