    Well Met!

    Blizzard has graciously given us TEN (10) Galakrond's Awakening adventure codes to give away.

    These bundles will be handed out to SEVEN (7) lucky redditors picked at random who comments in this thread, and THREE (3) lucky participants on discord. Details on the discord giveaway will be revealed at a later time.

    To enter, simply reply to this post! Your reddit account must have been created on or before 16 January 2020 to be eligible to win. Please note that multiple comments will disqualify you from winning.

    The giveaway contents include:

    • All 4 chapters of Galakrond's Awakening (24 boss fights, 2 difficulties)

    • 35 collectible cards that will be unlocked progressively as you complete the adventure

    • One Golden Classic pack

    This pre-order is also still available in the in-game store and Blizzard shop until 21 January 2020 (~1000 PST | 1800 UTC) when Galakrond's Awakening is released.

    If you have already purchased the adventure, you will not be able to redeem the code (but you will still be able to give the code to a friend).

    The giveaway will run for 24 hours from the time this thread is posted.

    So I'm not a mod or anything, and I know they don't exactly like the type of low effort content that memes can be, but come on. This subreddit is the exact same material between expansions and isn't worth my time to visit. Here's what you can expect from r/hearthstone :

    I'm gonna be honest, anything outside those 4 posts is really pretty rare. I like the 9 days of meme - Christmas that the subreddit allowed, it was actually a lot of fun to join in and laugh at something stupid that all of us experience playing hearthstone.

    It's beating a dead horse at this point, but has anyone else noticed the totally broken mobile client is also unable to reconnect properly?

    At first I wasn't really paying attention because I lied to myself that "they'll fix the iOS client once everyone comes back from vacation." But given that I've been stuck using this pile of shit for weeks now, I've noticed two very consistent, very repeatable flaws and wondered if anyone else could confirm they have seen it as well (so it's not my device failing):

    1) Requiring two attempts to reconnect to game. For example, I'll be in an arena match, and try to drag a card from my hand and CRASH so I immediately restart. But it doesn't reconnect to my game, it takes me to the home screen. Then I click on Arena and Play as if I'm starting a new match, when it suddenly reboots back to the app loading screen, perhaps because it realizes I already have an active session. THEN it actually detects my previous game and reconnects me, only by now I've skipped two rounds and am basically dead. The same thing happens in Ranked and Battlegrounds games too. I'm basically punished for restarting too quickly after a crash.

    2) If my client has been in the background for a while and I go to play, it gives me the "Reconnect" dialog... but it never succeeds. It just stalls at reconnecting, then the message "this is taking longer than expected, check your Internet connection." It will sit there forever. It's actually faster to just swipe up to force kill the app and restart than it is to sit staring at the Reconnect dialog.

    Quest Hunter is a real beast for ladder (and it's so good you will tolerate this pun)

    The deck is great for ladder.

    Really surprised with the omnipresent Rogue matchup; I felt like this is probably the best deck to counter Rogue. Had no problem beating Pirate Warrior, Highlander Hunter, Zoo Warlock and token Druid.

    Went from rank 8 and 1 star to 5 with 92% WR. It's a pretty small sample, but it was really impressive.

    The list is pretty much the same in the Vs Data Reaper. Just changed a few cards I felt didn't work:

    Only real bad matchup I found is Quest Priest, because that passive (and boring) gameplan, the fact that you dont have almost anything to trade with and you can't chip their health away really screws your strategy.

    I just downloaded Hearthstone this morning and im hooked. My only problem is, can you progress as a free to play? I'm a full time student right now, and I don't really have the income to pay for any DLC and the such. Should I keep on playing? Is it worth it as a free to play or will I just run into an impending pay wall? If you had to actually buy something from the shop, which one thing is the best bang for your buck?

    The adventure will be released about 24 hours form now, but we don't know about half the cards. Will they release the remaining card before the first chapter? I mean they should because people who want to preorder it don't really know what they're gonna buy.
