Summary of this week (by UltimateNoodle)I go by /u/UltimateNoodle on Reddit, I've been playing Hearthstone since beta. I did my first grind to legend back in Goblins vs. Gnomes and most recently again in Rise of Shadows, with varying degrees of commitment to the game in-between. I've always enjoyed reading the discussion that Neon's lists generate in the CompHS comments, so I hope by adding my own commentary to the list we might be able to get it moderator approved and have these discussions once again. Sorry to say that I'm not familiar with the Wild meta (infinite sn1p-sn4ps?), so these ramblings will only pertain to the Standard decks listed. As expected, there are many successful Shaman decks being played at high legend as both quest and evolve Shaman are undoubtedly two of the strongest decks in the game right now. Tempo Rogue certainly has a strong showing this week with many top-ten placements at that. It's not too much of a surprise that Rogue has game right now with strong tempo plays, great one-drops that still give value if drawn later and being able to Sap a Shaman's turn-three Ironbark Protector. Outside of tempo, there was even some top-fifty placements from some fringe N'zoth and Highlander Rogue decks from J_Alexander_HS and nagon1609 (respectively) which shows that Rogue has some different options available if you're not into the pure tempo game. Interestingly, there are still few combo Priest decks being played, though MikolopHS did sport a healthy #5 placement with the deck that unsurprisingly included our favourite spooky troll boy Bwonsamdi. Considering how popular combo Priest was prior to Doom in the Tomb (particularly at Legend ranks) I was expecting more people to go back to it once the N'zoth hype died down. I've personally still seen people struggling to play the deck correctly, so perhaps the learning curve of the deck is keeping away those that are new to the decks whilst those that were previously playing it for the raw power have evolved to playing an even stronger deck. Fireaei tweeted a very impressive #3 legend position with a Nomi Quest Druid list which is fairly standard other than the interesting inclusion of Jepetto Joybuzz. While there are still some Malygos Druids floating around, the decline of N'zoth decks means that more standard lists are understandably ranking higher at the moment. Beast Hunter being played at #17 legend is a bit unexpected, especially since the list hasn't really changed in the last few months, though denHS' tweet claims that "it worked unless [he] ran into rogues and druids". I would really expect to see more Highlander Hunters getting high placements. If anyone has any thoughts as to why they're not, please go ahead and comment below. Highlander Mage had a surprising #1 legend spot courtesy of F2K_J4CKIE, who claims it's a "great deck for farming all these shamans". If that's true, I would expect to see more success from other Mages, but either way, the deck seems to have some real potential in the hands of a skilled player. Long gone are the days of Warrior dominance it would seem. Nafben did manage a #22 rank with a Control Taunt variant while PizzaTCG Highlander'd his way to #42, though both of these decks must be really sad to see anybody that plays an N'Zoth. Sorry Paladin and Warlock fans, your decks have been mysteriously renounced this week. [Editor Info: This text was made at a point where no paladin or warlock decks were published for this week] If you have anything to add to the discussion please comment, I really miss reading what people have to say about these high legend decks. Disagree with anything? Feel free to send some hate-mail! /u/UltimateNoodle [link] [comments]

Sooo this is Getting out hand (Mobile Hearthstone) Posted: 27 Oct 2019 01:55 PM PDT So keeping this short, the issues with mobile hearthstone becomes more frustrating, Constant gliches with building any New deck is super problematic since simple "tabbing out" crashes the game, constant friend and Basic card dublication, and worst of all the worse stability of any fight, whenever i dropped one bar of my internet i got instant crash and i can't return, i can't count how many arenas i lost becouse of this. And for last why the hell most updates are late in mobile EVEN UP TO 24 HOURS. Blizzard come on [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Oct 2019 12:51 PM PDT Hey there. Im a Duel Links player, popping into the Hearthstone subreddit, because my brother enjoys playing it. Ive always been interested in picking it up, but I for some reason can never get into it. I first reasoned my distaste due to its Mana system, a system Yugioh doesnt have, but I personally dont believe that to be entirely why I keep running away from the game. Has anyone else had this same issue regarding the game? Mainly, being unable to determine why they cant get into it? If so, how did (IF you did) you get over this annoying bump, and find enjoyment with the game. I do wish to become apart of the community, and delve into everything this game has to offer, but I need assistance in getting over my continuous "Try-then-bye" loop I keep getting stuck in. TLDR: I wanna get into the game, but when I try to play it, I dont like it and I dont know why. Anything I can do to overcome that? [link] [comments] |
