Just felt it needed to be said that in addition to respect that has already been given to Trump, he is a perfect example of not being toxic or angry when you're on the losing side of things. When something good happens for his opponents he's cheerful to think about how excited that person would be in their favorable outcomes. Even moreso when something very improbable happens to him. He'll think about how rare that moment is and enjoy living in it. That's a wonderful thing and I felt that he deserved to have it put to words (: Also I purposely worded it in a way to relate to us political tension for the memes. Have a good one! | Hearthstone History: A situation where a nerf turned out to be a buff Posted: 15 May 2021 07:47 PM PDT After the release of the first expansion Naxxramas in 2014, Hearthstone was infested by Aggro Hunter decks using Mad Scientist, a 2 mana 2/2 that plays a secret from your deck on death. Hunter was so broken during this time that it had a >50% win rate even vs anti-hunter decks, and the only way to consistently beat hunter was to play hunter yourself. Flare was nerfed from 1 to 2 mana around this time due to the insane value it got in a meta where everyone ran mad scientist + secrets, but this ended up being an overall buff to hunters: when a deck becomes so powerful and widespread, the deck starts to cannibalize itself to tech against itself. This was what flare did — including it improved your winrate vs other hunters while decreasing your winrate vs other decks. Because half the ladder was hunters, flare was an autoinclude. After the nerf, most players stopped running flare. Because mirror matchups are 50% winrate by definition, the hunter mirror matchup remains unchanged. But not having to include flare allows for cards better in other matchups, so the end result of the nerf was an overall increase in hunter's winrate across the board. [link] [comments] | ||

Already made it to legend with secret rogue but actually am a mage main. Right now I saved ~700 Gold for the Mini Set but i really want to try spell mage but i miss around 14 cards for the deck. What do you think, should i just craft these cards from dust or spend my gold on packs to maybe get some of the missing cards. Thanks for your help :) [link] [comments] | ||
