I don't want to say they're stealing it, but there's no links to the source piece, and I know for a fact the original copyright holder is not fond of people using her work.

I have nothing against dog, I watch his videos hence why I even noticed this. I don't mean to go looking for beef, but its happened consistently and so here it is.

Many hearthstone Youtubers include classical music in their Youtube clips, as it has no copyright (unless its being performed by a live band and recorded) but if the music is synthesised from a midi, that's fine. You can't own the track, just the recording.

Dog's videos have started having some really nice quiet piano music in the background, keeping up with this trend, but putting a different spin on it. I don't know where all the music is from, but one track constantly leaps out at me. I've got a snippet from when it starts here (Youtube Link) starting at around 2:57 or so, its most clear here, but if you look over a bunch of the last videos, you can hear that super recognisable motif every now and then. Compare that to the beginning of this song (Youtube Link) or any one of the numerous covers (Youtube Link) and (Youtube Link)

For those who wouldn't know, that track is called Everything's Alright by Laura Shigihara, and it is from the To The Moon OST. (A charming little indie game). The song gained popularity when Emily Scholz covered it for Markiplier's 6 million subscribers music video. Dog's videos use an orchestral cover of the song, which is beautiful, however neither the original creator of the song, nor the composer of the piece are credited in the video's description.

Again, its not dog's fault, its just something I feel the editor should try to avoid doing. I have no idea how they gather the piano music for playing in the background, whether its songs they themselves perform, or they find on spotify or what, but please either include a link to a Spotify playlist where the songs can be found, or link to the original covers/songs themselves. If that sounds like a lot, then stick to songs that are royalty free, and if the song was listed as royalty free, then it was mis-labelled. I know Trump's editor (Yens? Jens?) uses tracks from warcraft depending on his board, and they all use Nintendo tracks but he includes a "Frequently used Music" section in the description.

TL;DR Dog's Editor is using copyrighted music in the background of his videos, without acknowledging them at all, and its not good.
