The giveaway will consist of an art contest, a limerick contest, a Discord raffle and a Reddit raffle. The contests have varying submission deadlines, and the winners will voted on by you and your fellow redditors in anonymised contest threads. Discord RaffleSubmission Deadline: August 5th, 18:00 (6PM) GMT Four Scholomance Academy bundles will be given out to random users of the /r/Hearthstone Discord server over at https://Discord.gg/Hearthstone. | Blizzard please change the card pack legendary pity timer to 30. Posted: 01 Aug 2020 07:36 AM PDT It is widely known that the current maximum packs you have to open is 40 to get a legendary. This creates too much variance between pack openings as we see pre order bundles get opened this weekend. Blizzard always says they want people to feel good about opening packs, a positive experience. I can assure you hitting the 40 pack wall does not make anyone feel happy. We know blizzard is listening to feedback about packs and implemented Duplicate protection this past rotation, I think it is time to send more feedback to change one more thing. Now that we know there are two extra legendary cards per set, 25 in total now, the legendary timer needs to change from 40 to 30. While I myself got lucky this pack opening, a lot of folks do not. With class legendaries and neutral legendaries extremely powerful this set I am anticipating a lot of play with these cards. Reading that people are spending $130 and getting 4 legendary cards in 140 packs is unacceptable. This needs to change. [link] [comments] | ||

| can we talk about how dumb it is deck codes don't fit into blizzard's own chat system Posted: 01 Aug 2020 10:18 AM PDT it is unbelievable how difficult it is to share decks with your friends. it is counterintuitive that hearthstone's deck code length doesn't allow you to share it in blizzard's own freaking chat. i have to open a notepad document, paste it there, extract the code from there, and then i can share it in blizzard chat. and if you wanna do it from your phone, it's gonna take at least twice as long. blizz pls adress this [link] [comments] | ||

| Fireside Gathering is pretty lame without the pre-built decks. Posted: 01 Aug 2020 11:57 AM PDT So with the last at-home prerelease Fireside Gathering my boyfriend and I were able to queue up against each other with the prebuilt expansion decks which was a lot of fun. Blizzard chose not to include the prebuilt deck format this time which is a shame because it's the best way to try the new cards for the prereleases. I get that many people can't take advantage of the prereleases due to the pandemic, but it seems pretty silly to include two different tavern brawls as formats for the prerelease weekend, but not the format that actually lets you play and try new cards.
