Can someone explain to me why Mage's quest is called "Raid the Sky Temple"?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2020 08:58 AM PST

What exactly is the Sky Temple and where is it located? The only Sky Temple I know of is the battleground from Heroes of the Storm, which actually kind of has the aesthetic of Uldum but that's not related to WoW... So what am I missing?

What cards from Wild do you think would be best to bring back into Standard for a short period of time?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2020 06:36 AM PST

This would be assuming the current meta and not anything starting next rotation. I know Evolve was not the greatest card to have back, but think of cards that could find fun uses without being broken.

Personally, my first thought was to maybe add some dragons into standard. Cards like Nefarian, Chromaggus, etc. that don't have a (as of yet) game breaking possibility due to just being decent. Considering dragons are finally pretty good in standard, I think this could be good.

Another option for class cards is to bring back cards that maybe open up a different archetype to standard, rather than just adding to a pre-existing one (definitely do not bring back an old Highlander card).

Using Shaman as an example because it was the worst offender last time for having two cards that worked extremely well together, maybe bring back something like Powermace for a mech shaman and a freeze card like Moorabi. Don't just hand people an easy combo, let us make weird decks.

I don't think cards that will obviously find some meta use like N'Zoth or Sylvanus are good options. Use ones that people will have to work to find a good or fun deck to use cards in that aren't as obvious or synergistic with the other cards that are brought from Wild.

So which ones would you most like to see brought into Standard? Or why do you think we shouldn't bring cards back?

HS Battlegrounds is a game about making skillful choices.

I made the best deck ever at 3AM last night.

    Posted: 08 Feb 2020 10:44 PM PST

Today, I bring all of you the pleasure of the greatest deck I, or anyone else, will ever make. Egg priest. Or Omelette Priest. Or *insert another egg pun here* priest.

    AAECAa0GBIWtA5+3A6mlA6QDDfIM5QSh/gKNlwPEiQO9pgPvkgPl9wK2pQOesQOClAOIggO09gIA

The goal of the deck is to do exactly what you think. Break eggs until you die, or your opponent dies, or someone dies. You have several ways to break eggs, but the big ones are your Reckless Experimenter and your Wretched Reclaimer.

I have also realized that many of the eggs in this deck are in fact legally not eggs, however I stand by the logic that anything can be an egg if you believe.

And finally you might ask if the deck is any good, and because I can't lie to you all, I am going to refuse to comment.

    Taver Brawl modifications

    Posted: 09 Feb 2020 06:36 AM PST

Hi community. This last brawl was the one of the type I think are good for trying things out and thinking cool combos. But the issue always becomes that people tend to play the easiest way out to farm gold, then the people that get tired play the counter and so the brawl's meta kinds of settles.

My idea is, next time one of this brawls is on (also with the pick 2 or 3 cards and fill you deck with copies) is that after you win a game with a deck, you have those cards Banned for the rest of the brawl. That way you can have more experimentation (if you want to keep winning).

    What do you think?

What nerf do you see incoming for demons in battlegrounds. What makes them so OP?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2020 01:36 PM PST

I feel like floating watcher and wreath weaver are the culprits, but wreathreaver before floating watcher wasnt really seen that OP, and floating watcher without wreathreaver would be a dead card.

Maybe get rid of Malganis so that combo becomes an actual downside lategame.

In consideration of Trump's most recent video where he gets screwed by Nozdormu...

    Posted: 09 Feb 2020 01:15 PM PST

Change Nozdormu to "Each player can only play X amount of cards each turn." (Probably 1 card would be very interesting, maybe 2).

    OR

"Each players' turn automatically ends after they have played X cards." (Probably 2 cards, maybe 3).

Both keep the "time / amount of action restriction" so the card maintains its flavor.
