Tempo Storm Wild Meta Snapshot #50 - February 13, 2020 Posted: 13 Feb 2020 11:08 AM PST https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/meta-snapshot/wild/2020-02-13 Hi everyone, We are the Wild Meta Snapshot team for Tempo Storm, consisting of Concernedmom, EKDesigner, Galokot, Mentalistic, rod_johnston, slizzle466, and therottedzombie. If you have any questions or comments about the report please let us know. We will be in the comments to answer any questions you may have! HOW TO USE THE META SNAPSHOT The tier list (included below for easy access and distribution) shows the best decks to play in Ranked mode to maximize the chances of winning the game and climbing the ladder. Click on the name of the archetype in each tier to expand more details about the deck. The "Archetype Explanation" section gives a general explanation of the archetype as a whole. It will present playstyle strategies, discuss different variants of the deck, and help you identify the deck on ladder. The "Weekly Meta and Featured Deck" section analyzes the role of the deck in the current snapshot's meta, and focuses in on the nuances of playing the current snapshot's featured deck variant. The "Tech Decision" section suggests card substitution options that you may consider if you are frequently facing a particular type of deck on ladder (i.e., you are being swarmed by aggro, or constantly queue into control decks). The "Match-ups" section gives an approximate average percentage chance that you will win a game when facing another Tier 1 or Tier 2 deck. Click on the "View Deck" button to view in-depth information about the deck, such as the card composition, mana curve, mulligans, and more. The date in the title of the deck is the date on which that variant of the deck was first posted on the Meta Snapshot. If the construction of a deck has not changed since then, the deck may be reused in a future Snapshot. Make sure to scroll down to read the latest discussion on the deck's current role in the meta. I find it hilarious that Rogue is playing the Quest with the intention of never finishing it :-D Posted: 13 Feb 2020 05:03 AM PST Context: People have started playing "Fake Quest Galakrond" Rogue with the goal to utilize the 5 recent Quest-triggered cards: Questing Explorer, Sky Gen'ral Kragg and Licensed Adventurer. . The goal is to use this engine to empower cards like Ediwn VanCleef and Questing Adventurer (Also note how the 2 "If you have a quest, ..." cards combine her name :-)!). In my experience, this condenses the Galakrond Rogue deck a little and allows you to produce more stats in the mid-game, whereas the regular Galakrond Rogue would often be sorta stuck with a full hand spawning a bunch of 1/1s. Anyways, just wanted to highlight this because this, to me, is supreme deckbuilding :-)! Make desktop hearthstone less demanding. Posted: 13 Feb 2020 11:11 AM PST Is there a way to make the game less demanding? I have an mx150 and a 8th gen i7, so the game runs smooth as butter on my high resolution screen. Thing is, it heats up quite a bit and the fans get a bit loud. What confuses me is that the game looks just as good on any crappy android tablet or on my old laptop with a 2ng gen i5 and an old integrated graphics card. I've tried lowering the resolution and locking the framerate to 30fps, but that didn't seem to make a difference. So, first, why does it draw so much more processing? Second, is there a way to lower it? [link] [comments] | ||
